Gardening or Fabric?

Summer is here!

Gardens are all a bloom.

Did you spend your weekend in the garden or with
your new fabric cuts?

I traveled to the Pacific Northwest.
I was so happy to get out of the record breaking
heat.  Friday it was 111 degrees in Gilbert, Az.

This is a lovely screened porch, but it is not at our house.

I spent the week-end in Central Washington.

This is a wild geranium growing in my mom's yard.

I love the Columbine, lavender and maple mix.

Snapdragons and coreopsis

A fence was replaced in the neighborhood, and the
old weathered cedar was collected.
My sister and brother-in-law spent the weekend
applying the slats from the fence to the
old wood storage shed.

They crafted handles out of old leather, so the
door could be pulled out.

A very fine new addition to the neighborhood.

I hope you had as a productive weekend
as we did.

Soon I will show you the hexes I started working on.

thanks, kathy
